CMP Announces Upcoming Community Connection Events

In the coming weeks, CMP will provide in-person customer service assistance in York, Penobscot and Androscoggin Counties.

Augusta, ME — May 16, 2024 — Central Maine Power (CMP) is launching its springtime Community Connection Events (CCEs) series, where customers will have the opportunity to meet in-person with customer service representatives so they can ask questions about their accounts in convenient, central locations in communities across Maine. Over the next several weeks, representatives from CMP’s Customer Service teams will be holding these events in Old Orchard Beach, Dexter, Saco and Livermore Falls, continuing an effort that launched in 2023.

“After receiving such positive feedback about this program, we’re excited to be bringing our Community Connection Events back so we can once again make ourselves available to our customers in a unique way,” said Linda Ball, Vice President of Customer Service for CMP. “Whether it’s a question about a bill, the need for more information about available assistance programs, advice on how to lower costs, or if you are just curious to learn more about our company and the electricity we deliver, we invite our customers to come by and pay us a visit.”
