CMP lists towns, roads where customers will likely be without service overnight
AUGUSTA, Maine, July 22, 2010, 7 p.m. — As of 6:30 p.m., CMP had restored power to all but 2,700 homes and businesses left without service after Wednesday’s severe thunderstorms and tornados.
CMP crews will continue to work on storm restoration through tonight, but the company warns that some residents on the following streets and roads in the communities listed below may be without power into Friday.
York County: Various streets and roads in Acton, Alfred, Biddeford, Limerick, Lyman, Sanford, Shapleigh, and Waterboro.
Other areas: Falmouth -- Stage Coach Road; Georgetown -- Reid State Park Road; Gorham -- Fort Hill Road, Wescott Road; Scarborough -- Fogg Road; Windham -- Craig Road; Westbrook -- Emery Street.
