Corporate Sponsorship

Thank you for your interest in partnering with Central Maine Power to make a difference in our community! We welcome donation requests from organizations seeking sponsorship for events and programs that align with our mission.

To ensure that we can thoughtfully review each request, please follow these instructions carefully:

• CMP can only support 501c3 nonprofits through its charitable giving program. Please be ready to provide a signed copy of your nonprofit’s W9.
• Please fill out all required fields accurately and provide detailed information about your organization, the purpose of the donation, how funds will be used, and the anticipated impact.
• Our donation acceptance period is from September 1 to December 1 for funding to be awarded in the following fiscal year. Please ensure that your request is submitted within this timeframe for consideration.
• We primarily focus our giving strategy in the following categories: STEM education, wildlife/animals, outdoor recreation, veterans, food security, and literacy with a focus on sponsoring events and programs.
• We do not provide funding for capital campaigns, religious ceremonies, or organizations whose missions do not align with our company values.
• Once your donation request is submitted, our team will carefully review it. You will receive confirmation of receipt via email, and we will follow up with you regarding the status of your request by the end of January.
