Optional Time-of-Use (TOU) Delivery Rate Enrollment and De-Enrollment

Optional Time-of-Use (TOU)

The residential TOU rate charges a lower per kWh rate during off-peak hours and a higher per kWh rate during on-peak hours. Generally speaking, customers can save money on the delivery component of the electricity bill if at least 86% of their total usage is in the off-peak period.

Effective July 1, 2025, the TOU on- and off-peak hours and rates are as follows:

Hours

  • On-Peak Hours: 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays)
  • Off-Peak Hours: All other hours
