CMP commercial customers have the right to be informed of competitive contracts.

The ratemaking method approved by the Maine Public Utilities Commission gives CMP some flexibility in setting prices and that allows CMP to enter into special contracts or offer programs to business customers to address competitive energy options or unique energy needs.

One of the regulatory guidelines for such programs or contracts establishes your right to be notified if one of your direct competitors, as determined based on your Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code, enters into a pricing contract with CMP.

To be placed on a list to receive this notification, complete the Competitor Notification Request Form or send the following information to Central Maine Power Company, 83 Edison Drive, Augusta, Maine 04336: Your company's name, address, telephone number, CMP account number, product or service description, SIC Code, and contact person to whom we should provide the notification.
