Friend Alert
Our Friend Alert Third Party Notification service offers you extra peace of mind.  A friend, agency or organization you designate will receive a copy of any important notices we may send to you.  For more information, please call CMP at 1-800-750-4000.

Hearing and Speech Impairment Assistance
If you use a telephone (TTY) device in your home, just dial 711 and ask the Maine Relay Service operator to contact CMP at 1-800-750-4000.

Electricity Lifeline Program
The Electricity Lifeline Program (ELP) offers qualified low-income customers a credit on their electric bill. This credit is based on household income and estimated electricity usage. This credit is applied to your bill for the same amount each month, up to 12 months.  See our fact sheet for more information.

Lifelight Service
Customers with life support systems or other special needs that depend on electricity service will be notified of planned interruptions of service for scheduled maintenance or repairs. And, we'll contact you during unplanned outages with information to help you plan for your needs. Please call our Customer Relations Center if you believe you qualify for this service.
