CMP crews to complete restoration in most towns by later today
AUGUSTA, Maine, October 31, 2011, 9 a.m. — Central Maine Power Company (CMP) reports 21,000 customers without power on Monday morning. The company expects to complete repairs in most parts of the state by later today, although towns in York County may have some customers out until Tuesday. CMP estimates that the storm knocked out power to more than 207,400 customers since late Saturday evening, with a peak of nearly 145,000 outages on Sunday morning.
