CMP warns some customers may be without power overnight in some towns
AUGUSTA, Maine, March 1, 2010, 7:30 p.m. — Central Maine Power Company (CMP) reports that some of the remaining 4,000 homes and businesses without power will not have their power restored before morning. The company still expects to complete the storm restoration in most communities by late tonight, but the company warns that some residents in the communities listed below may be without power until Tuesday.

Acton, Arrowsic, Bath, Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Bremen, Bristol, Brunswick, Cliff Island, Damariscotta, Edgecomb, Georgetown, Harpswell, Kittery, Long Island, Newcastle, Nobleboro, Phippsburg, Sanford, Southport, Topsham, Waldoboro, West Bath, Whitefield, Wiscasset, Woolwich, and York.
