CMP crews pour into York County and mid-coast communities
 

AUGUSTA, Maine, Dec. 15, 2008, 9 a.m. — Central Maine Power Co. (CMP) sent its crews out for the fourth straight day of restoration work in communities in the counties of York, Cumberland, Sagadahoc, and Lincoln. Nearly 40,000 customer accounts remain without power on Monday morning, as 1,300 field and support personnel shift their operations to an ever-shrinking number of communities.

Following is a list of remaining outages by Service Center. Each Service Center includes the city or town listed, along with a dozen or more surrounding communities. A map showing the towns in each service area as well as a town-by-town listing of outages can be found on CMP’s web site at www.cmpco.com.
