“Our crews are making good progress today, so we expect to complete repairs in many towns in northern and inland areas by tonight,” said CMP spokesman John Carroll. “However, many people in coastal towns west of Damariscotta and down through York and Cumberland counties will be out for at least one more night.”
Following is an alphabetical list of towns where service is expected to be restored by midnight tonight:
Appleton, Belmont, Brooks, Brownfield, China, Cumberland, Fryeburg, Harrison, Jackson, Liberty, Lincolnville, Lisbon, Lisbon Falls, Monroe, Naples, Northport, Otisfield, Oxford, Palermo, Raymond, Rockport, Sebago, Vassalboro, Waterford, and Windsor.
Most cities and towns served out of CMP’s Portland office are expected to have power back by late Monday. While progress is reported in York County and the along the Midcoast, it may be later in the week before service is restored to all customers in those areas, which are served by CMP offices in Alfred and Brunswick.
