CMP power restoration reaches 80 percent mark
AUGUSTA, Maine, Nov. 26, 2008, 10 p.m.— Central Maine Power Co. reports that it has restored power to more than 30,000 customer accounts – about 80 percent of those who lost service in Tuesday’s storm. Additional personnel, such as safety specialists, supervisors, assessors, and others brought the number of personnel in the field and at district offices to well over 500 workers earlier today.
