Customer Service Guarantee

At CMP, we are committed to providing timely and courteous service. If we ever fall short, we want to hear from you. To back our commitment to high quality customer service, we offer the following guarantees:

Billing accuracy: We guarantee that your bill will be accurate and delivered on time. If there is a mistake, we will correct it promptly. Additionally, we will provide a $25 credit to apologize for the error. Note, this credit does not apply to under-billings unless the correction is made.

New Service Connection If we do not connect your new electric service by the promised date, we will apply a $250 credit to your account.

Meter readings: If we are unable to read your meter, the $25 credit does not apply.

Storms and emergencies: During widespread outages, our top priority is restoring power to our customers. Therefore, our guarantee does not apply to New Service Connections when CMP suspends normal business operations due to storm conditions or other emergencies.

For your safety and the safety of our employees, certain appointments may be rescheduled due to weather conditions that pose a safety hazard. While we cannot guarantee the weather, or these appointments, we do thank you for your understanding.
