Non-Firm Point-To-Point Transmission Service
Transmission Service
The Transmission Customer shall compensate the Transmission Provider for Non-Firm Point-To-Point Transmission Service up to the sum of the applicable charges set forth below:
- Monthly delivery: up to $0.000479/KW/Mile of Reserved Capacity per month.
- Weekly delivery: up to $0.000111/KW/Mile of Reserved Capacity per week.
- On-Peak Daily delivery: up to $0.000022/KW/Mile of Reserved Capacity per day, Monday through Friday.
Off-Peak Daily delivery: up to $0.000016/KW/Mile of Reserved Capacity per day, Saturday and/or Sunday.
The total demand charge in any week, pursuant to a reservation for Daily delivery, shall not exceed the rate specified in section (2) above times the highest amount in kilowatts of Reserved Capacity in any day during such week.
4. On-Peak Hourly delivery: up to $0.251765/MWH (for hourly service provided during hours ending 8 through 23).
Off-Peak Hourly delivery: up to $0.167843/MWH (for hourly service provided during hours ending 1 through 7 and hour ending 24).
The total demand charge in any day, pursuant to a reservation for Hourly delivery, shall not exceed the rate specified in section (3) above times the highest amount in kilowatts of Reserved Capacity in any hour during such day. In addition, the total demand charge in any week, pursuant to a reservation for Hourly or Daily delivery, shall not exceed the rate specified in section (2) above times the highest amount in kilowatts of Reserved Capacity in any hour during such week.
5. Discounts
If the Transmission Provider offers an affiliate a rate to its own transactions, the Transmission Provider must offer at the same time the same discounted Non-Firm Point-To-Point Transmission Service rate to all Eligible Customers on the same path and on all unconstrained transmission paths. Information regarding any non-firm transmission discounts must be posted on the OASIS pursuant to Part 37 of the Commission’s regulations. In addition, discounts to non-affiliates must be offered in a not unduly discriminatory manner.
6. Exceeding Capacity Reservations
In the event the Transmission Customer exceeds the Capacity Reservation specified in the customer's Transmission Service Agreement as determined by the Company and/or NEPEX, the Transmission Customer shall be retroactively charged the normal charges incurred at the rates specified above.
The mileage in the above charges shall be the distance between the Point of Delivery and the Point of Receipt.
7. Billing Demand
Capacity reservations at points of receipt must include the transmission capacity amount associated with applicable losses on the transmission system.
