Central Maine Power storm restoration focuses on final 250 customer accounts
AUGUSTA, Maine, Feb. 26, 2009, 4 p.m. — Central Maine Power Co. (CMP) remains on track to complete its storm repairs today. At 4 p.m., CMP had restored power to all but about 246 of the customers who lost service earlier this week. Only scattered outages remain in some communities along the coast from Freeport to Waldoboro, and utility crews expect to restore power to all homes and businesses by late this evening.
Customers who are unsure about whether CMP has their outage information are encouraged to report it using the utility’s on-line system at www.cmpco.com or by phone at 1-800-696-1000.
Maps showing the extent of the outages and the progress of the restoration are available on the company’s website by clicking here for outages by town. More information on outages and storm restoration is available at www.cmpco.com.
This is the final update.
